Educational Qualification
- Navik (General Duty):
The candidate to be eligible required to have completed 10+2 (Intermediate) in Mathematics and Physics from a recognized education board. - Navik (Domestic Branch):
The candidate must have completed 10th Class from a recognized board. - Yantrik:
The aspirant must be 10th Class pass and have a Diploma in Electrical /Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering from an AICTE approved Organization.

Process of Selection
The selection procedure of the Indian Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik 2025 has a series of rounds which make sure that, the most deserving candidate gets selected for the Indian Coast Guard.
- Written Examination – OMR based test on maths, physics and general knowledge.
- Assessment & Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – Running, push-ups, and sit-ups to test physical fitness.

- Medical Examination – By the prescribed Armed Forces Medical Officers.
- Final Merit List – Considered on the basis of overall performance along with category wise cutoff.
