Requirements for Qualification Criteria
Candidates should fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for Sainik School Admission 2026:
Entrance Exam For Class 6:
- The aspirant should be born between 1 April 2014 and 31 March 2016 (both days are included).
- Both boys and girls can apply.
- The candidate must have studied in class 5 in a recognised school as on the date of application.
Admission to class 9:
- The aspire should be born between 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2013 (both dates are inclusive).
- Boys only can apply for this.
- Application must be made at the time of admission by the Candidate who is studying in Class 8 in a recognized school.

Selection Process
Sainik School Admission 2026 will be done on the basis of the AISSEE 2026 exam conducted by NTA, besides medical fitness and verification of documents.
- Written Test (AISSEE 2026): The written test will be OMR based and will contain questions from Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language and Intelligence.
